On 26 January last, the event in memory of Alberto Schommer took place in the Royal Fine Arts Academy of San Fernando. In 1998 Schommer became a Full Member of the academy. At the event Schommer read out “Elogio a la fotografía”, disputed by the sculptor Julio López Hernández. On 25 January Julio López, was in charge of the reading the discourse IN MEMORIAN. He gave a speech in which he emphasized the talent of the photographer.
